Project Overview
A client near Durban’s harbor needed stair treads and both 38mm and 25mm moulded gratings for their site. The goal was to find a solution that could handle the corrosive marine environment while ensuring safety.
Challenges
The site’s proximity to saltwater posed a risk of corrosion to traditional materials, necessitating a solution that was both durable and safe.
Solution
We provided FRP stair treads and moulded gratings known for their resistance to corrosion and easy installation. The 38mm gratings were chosen for heavier loads, and the 25mm gratings for lighter areas.
Installation
Installation was straightforward due to the lightweight nature of FRP. Our team ensured compliance with safety standards and supported the client throughout the process.
Outcome
The project improved safety and durability at the site, offering a long-lasting and effective solution against corrosion. This project demonstrated our ability to provide practical solutions tailored to our client’s needs.
